What is Care With Becca?
Care With Becca is an independent care and support service run by Rebecca McCrea. Support is tailored to the individual and focuses on promoting independence, choice and wellbeing.
What services do you provide?
Care With Becca provides companionship, support with outings and appointments, sit-in support, short breaks and live-in care relief. Support is personalised to each individual following an initial assessment.
Can Care With Becca support everyone?
No. Before support begins, an initial assessment is completed to ensure that Care With Becca can safely and appropriately meet your needs. Not every referral will be suitable, and where possible guidance will be provided regarding alternative sources of support.
Do you provide personal care?
Personal care support may be available depending on individual circumstances and support needs. This will be discussed during the initial assessment to ensure it is appropriate, safe and within Rebecca's competence and experience.
Do you provide transport?
Transport is not offered as a standalone service and is only available as part of an agreed support arrangement.
Can you support people with complex needs?
Rebecca has experience supporting individuals with a wide range of care and support needs, including some complex needs. However, an assessment will always be completed to ensure that support can be provided safely and appropriately.
Can Care With Becca replace my regular care agency?
No. Care With Becca provides flexible support, companionship, outings, appointments, short breaks and care relief. The service is not designed to replace a domiciliary care agency providing multiple daily care visits. Suitability will be discussed during the initial assessment.
Are you CQC registered?
Care With Becca operates as an independent self-employed care worker and is not required to register with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for the services provided.
Do you have insurance?
Yes. Care With Becca maintains appropriate insurance for the services provided, including public liability. Covered by Mark Bates LTD.
Do you have a DBS check?
Yes. Rebecca holds an Enhanced DBS check and is registered with the DBS Update Service. The DBS status can be checked online, allowing clients and families to verify that the check remains current.
Do you complete risk assessments?
Yes. Initial assessments and risk assessments are completed where appropriate to ensure support can be delivered safely and effectively.
What happens if you are unwell or on holiday?
As a self-employed sole trader, Care With Becca cannot provide replacement cover. Wherever possible, advance notice will be given, and alternative arrangements will need to be made by the client, family or support network.
How do I book support?
The first step is to get in touch to discuss your requirements. An initial assessment will then be arranged to determine whether Care With Becca is the right fit for your needs. Contact via the website or info.carewithbecca@gmail.com.
What are your cancellation terms?
The following charges apply to cancelled visits: 14 days’ notice or more - no charge
48 hours to 13 days’ notice - charged at 50%
Less than 48 hours’ notice - charged at 100%
These charges reflect the time being reserved specifically for you
Do you have policies and procedures?
Yes. Care With Becca maintains policies and procedures covering areas such as safeguarding, health and safety, confidentiality, complaints, risk assessment and data protection. Relevant policies are available on request.
What areas do you cover?

Do I need to agree to Terms and Conditions?
Yes. Before support begins, clients will be provided with Care With Becca's Terms and Conditions, which explain areas such as bookings, cancellations, payments, transport arrangements and ending services.
